Preparation

1Preparation: Wash and drain the rice. Slice the ginger and spring onion. Blend the ginger and garlic for the sauce. Slice the cucumber for garnishing. Prepare the chicken thighs by washing and cutting them to size if needed.

2Cooking: For the Chicken Rice, place the rice, 15g of MAGGI Chicken Stock, 40g of blended ginger, and 310ml of water into a rice cooker. Stir and cook until the rice is fully done. For the Steamed Chicken, place 600g of chicken thigh, 10g of sliced ginger, and 30g of spring onion into a steaming tray. Steam for 20 minutes, adjusting based on the thickness of the chicken. Once done, remove from the steamer, let it cool slightly, then slice into pieces. For the Ginger Garlic Sauce, heat 40g of cooking oil in a pan. In a bowl, mix 40g of blended ginger and 40g of blended garlic. Pour the hot oil over the mixture to sizzle and mix well, the sauce is now ready. To serve, neatly arrange the fragrant rice and sliced steamed chicken on a plate. Drizzle the ginger-garlic sauce over the chicken. Place 30g of sliced cucumber on the side. Pour 80g of MAGGI® Spicy Seasoning over the dish. Ready to serve!
